HOW IT WORKS
DTF stands for Direct to Film. Your design is printed onto a special transfer film and then heat pressed onto your garment, hat, bag, or any other fabric item. You do not need a special printer. You just need a heat press and your blank.
Gang sheets let you pack multiple designs onto one sheet so you get more transfers for less money. Instead of ordering each design separately you fill one sheet with everything you need.
Step by Step
- Choose your sheet size below
- Click Build Your Gang Sheet to open the design tool
- Upload your artwork files (PNG, SVG, PDF, EPS, AI, or JPG)
- Arrange your designs on the sheet manually or let the tool auto nest them for you
- Add to cart when your sheet looks good
- We print and ship your transfers within 1 to 3 days
SHEET SIZES AND PRICING
13 x 18 inches — $5.00
A great starter size. Fits several small to medium designs or one large design with extras.
13 x 23 inches — $8.00
More room for larger designs, more copies, or a mix of sizes on one sheet.
Both sizes are printed at full color on DTF transfer film.
ABOUT THE DESIGN TOOL
We use Kixxl to power our gang sheet builder. It is a professional DTF layout tool built specifically for this kind of work. Here is what it can do for you:
Upload your files and the tool automatically nests your designs to fill the sheet with as little wasted space as possible. You can also place everything manually if you prefer full control. Either way you see exactly what your sheet looks like before you order.
The tool also includes one click background removal, color replacement, and automatic trimming of transparent pixels so your transfers come out clean.
You can save your work and come back to it later. Returning customers can reorder a previous sheet without uploading again.
FILE REQUIREMENTS
Accepted file types: PNG, SVG, PDF, EPS, AI, JPG
Recommended: PNG with transparent background at 300 DPI or higher
Maximum file size: 1 GB per file
For the cleanest transfer results use a PNG file with a transparent background and no white box around your design. If your file has a white background the transfer will include that white area on your garment.
If your file needs cleanup or background removal the Kixxl tool has a one click background removal option built in.
RAD is not responsible for print quality issues caused by low resolution or improperly prepared files submitted by the customer.
WHAT IS A GANG SHEET
A gang sheet is a single sheet of DTF film that holds multiple designs printed together in one run. Instead of paying for each design on its own sheet you pack everything onto one sheet and only pay for the sheet.
For example on a 13 x 23 sheet you might fit four medium chest prints, six small pocket logos, and two sleeve designs all in one order. You peel and press each transfer individually when you are ready to use them.
Gang sheets are popular with small apparel brands, custom merch makers, boutique owners, event coordinators, and anyone who wants to stock up on transfers without committing to a large print run.
